The people behind Vega Star Productions include:

Star Varga, Principal Producer

From private equity to television, Star brings a diverse and dynamic background in both early-stage business and media to the team.  A graduate of UC Berkeley, Star worked on the capitalization of number of technology startups before founding Vega Star Productions in 2005, where her work has spanned development, project management, budget oversight, licensing, marketing and the occasional stint in front of the camera.

Alan Pollock, Senior Producer and Field Producer

As a Senior Producer at the Golf Channel from 1996-2010, Alan has produced numerous shows including the development and executive production of the John Daly Reality shows.   

Dave McCracken, SET Scramble Founder and Events Producer

Since creating the “Skills Challenge” format in 1989, Dave has developed alternative formats for golf that have been used to enhance the golf experience for amateur and professional golfers.  A former professional golfer, Dave has worked extensively with leaders in the golf industry and produced numerous tournament events.  The proprietary SET Scramble format has been used for television shows that feature PGA professionals John Daly and Boo Weekly and is a recognized and sanctioned format by several sections of the PGA.
