Venus warms up on set with crew and extras in the background. Todd Hartman, the guy walking in all black with a cup of coffee, was our key make up artist and responsible for the transformation of Margaret Gabriel into the all-gold Venus. Like all magicians, Todd wouldn’t reveal his secret gold-paint invention… however, everything Venus touched turned to gold – meaning, some of hers rubbed off. By the end of the shoot, everything that came within a 3 foot radius of Venus shimmered with gold dust. This shoot had the golden touch… literally!
